SCALE MODELING PROJECTS
The projects are broken down by subject category and are a combination of text and/or pictures. There are no drawings or diagrams in any of the project files. Since scale modeling is a visual hobby the techniques used to build the models are well illustrated with pictures. I have also included many old project files which were done with black and white film photography. Some of these photos have never been seen before as they were never used in any of my books or articles. The pictures were scanned and sequenced and while a picture is worth a thousand words, text has been impeded to help explain what was done to the model. More recent projects have been documented with digital photography and here again text has been incorporated into them where appropriate. The pictures contained in each project file present techniques for solving every challenge associated with a particular model.
You must have Adobe Reader installed on your
computer to open a project PDF file. Adobe Reader is a free computer software program
and if your computer does not have it you can easily download the reader by
accessing the Adobe WEB site. There is a link to ADOBE on the welcome page.
AFTER SEVERAL YEARS OF OPERATING THIS WEB SITE AND SLOWLY BUILDING UP THE CONTENT, THE ONE THING WE DID NOT ANTICIPATE WERE THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MAINTAINING AND UPDATING OUR SCALE MODELING TEACHING WEB SITE.
WITH THAT SAID, WE
ARE ASKING FOR DONATIONS TO DEFRAY THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH
KEEPING THIS WEB SITE GOING AND CONTINUING TO ADD TO ITS CONTENT.
ANY AMOUNT WILL HELP.
TO KEEP THINGS SIMPLE WE HAVE ADDED A PAYPAL DONATION BUTTON
TO OUR WELCOME PAGE.

NO SCALE MODEL IS PERFECT SO DONíT FALL VICTIM TO THE IMPERFECTION TRAP
SCALE MODELING IS WHAT EVER YOU WANT IT TO BE SO DONíT FALL VICTIM TO THE ACCURACY HOUNDS, PERFECTIONISTS OR THE CRITICS
SCALE MODELING IS A HOBBY NOT A COMPETITIVE SPORT
IMPATIENCE AND FRUSTRATION ALWAYS LEADS TO DISASTER AND REGRET
